About Kristen

I'd say I'm conscientious, hardworking, invested. I take pride in helping people get the care needed to retain independence. I'm looking to connect with my client with a goal to be comfortable with each other. I like working with other professionals to find ways to support clients. I started caring for seniors in 2005 and enjoyed the work. My M-I-L and F-I-L had medical issues around the same time and I cared for them which taught me how advocating for loved ones makes a difference. I decided to carry it into my professional life. I like to relax with my dogs and husband and love to read. I often visit family and attend local plays. I truly love my work. I've often had long term clients and love seeing them with their families. I'm an advocate for working with the client and family to make sure all needs are being met. I have great negotiation skills, a desire to take time to understand needs rather than assuming and the willingness to take on tasks to keep things running smoothly.
