I come to you with over 30 years of experience caring for newborns, toddlers and young children. Worked for eight different families. Experience with multiples and of different ages. I worked in a child care center for 16 years in the infant room (6 weeks to 15 months) and with per school age 3-5 years, too. I am certified in CPR and first aid. I have taken courses in Early Childhood Education. I am dependable, responsible and very organized person and has a lot to offer you as a nanny. I have the ability to multitask and keep on going to the next thing. I have experience with feeding, changing diapers, putting babies down for naps, potty training, reading arts, crafts, and social interactions with infants and young children. I believe that your children should have fun, be safe and have an education experience while being cared by a loving nanny like my self. Teaching young children and spending quality time with them is extremely important to me.

Kristie watched our son from 3 months - 8 months old. She was attentive, caring, and dependable.  She was very flexible, and was willing to help when one parent was out of town or weekends. I always knew he was safe in her care during the day.

Kristie was with our family for roughly 8-months - primarily watching our son from when he was 9-months to 15-months. She comes highly recommended and has numerous references. Kristie is extremely thorough, attention detailed and reliable. She will work with you to follow any instructions you leave her, has never been late and always shows up early, she's open to helping if you need her for extra hours, and much more. We've been able to have her come when the toddler catches minor illnesses which has been a lifesaver as my husband and I both work full time - mostly from home. She's great with infants and toddlers - doing a wonderful job singing, playing, putting them down for naps, preparing bottles and meals and overall helping them grow. She's super friendly with our toddler when they see each other before and after he goes to school.

Reached out To her about babysitter and got in my mind a rather rude comment that she wasn't a babysitter and a professional nanny.

Kristie certainly had the qualifications and drive and passion to work with children based on our interview with her.  We were unable to take her on at this time due to our own situation at this time, but if things changed, we would certainly take her on.  If someone is looking for a dependable person who loves children, she would be someone to be highly considered.

Kristie was hired to care for our daughter when she was 3-4 months old. Her extensive experience with infants stood out from all the other candidates on Care.com.   

A few of Kristie's best attributes was that she was always punctual and even came to our house 10-15 minutes early every day. That helped our family immensely as we were getting our day started and it made life so much easier to have her there before we rushed out for work and school. She was great at communicating any scheduling changes well in advance and was also very receptive and flexible when we had changes as well. In addition, she was always creative in playing with our daughter, whether that was singing, reading, or helping her meet her milestones. She brought her own toys, books and activities as well to keep our child entertained and smiling. Kristie would also keep a daily log for us and recorded her eating, nap and potty schedule, along with additional notes of the day. I enjoy reading them each day and it helps inform us of what our daughter did that day and what to anticipate that evening. In addition, she also kept a journal for us on our daughter's development progress.   

Kristie is a wonderful caregiver and truly enjoys interacting with children. She is great with babies and toddlers and we will genuinely miss having her on a full time basis. I hope she finds a great family to work with. It is a very important decision when deciding who to care for your child(ren). Kristie worked for a childcare center under my leadership from 1995 until 2005. 
Kristie started out as an assistant teacher in the infant room and received her CDA in July of 2002 and became teacher qualified. During this time Kristie also helped with preparing lunch for our program.
Kristie is dedicated, responsible and an organized person. She took pride in making sure the children were well taken care of based on their needs and the parents requests. She worked to create a positive and supportive relationship with parents, children and co-teachers. She also would add creative and fun activities to the lesson plans.
Kristie was always open to help out and very flexible with her time and schedule. She often volunteered to help out with school events outside of work hours and was open to training to help her in her role as a teacher.
