About Kristin

Until August 2017, I worked full-time as a Children's Ministry Director for 10+ years (Responsible for babies through 6th Grade), worked at the church for 18 years. I retired to help care for my grandson, who was born 5 1/2 weeks early, so my daughter could finish nursing school and continue to work while doing so. 4 years ago, I had the opportunity to help a friend whose grandchild was placed in DCF custody, (child was 5 months at the time). I was the second person legally responsible for him. The story has a great ending he was able to be reunited with his mom a little over a year later, and he is still in my life on a regular basis. I have volunteered with children/youth at church for 20 years. I absolutely love caring for babies and children. I enjoy being active and creative with children.
