I have cared for the elderly and disabled for 20+ years now, including people with dementia. My healthcare experience started as a CNA in nursing homes and MA in a hospital. My passion is taking care of individuals in their homes. I feel people should be able to stay in their own homes as long as they are capable & I am here to assist. I understand all people are different and require personal understanding as well as care. I am experienced with showering, dressing, meal prep, special diets, feeding, encouraging medications, house cleaning, shopping, errands, transportation, appointments and more. Special skills would include; hoyer lift, hospital beds, 02, trach, vent, peg tube, and more. I have current TB and CPR/FA & great references.
