About Krystina

I was raised in a home where my mom was a full time nanny and I have been around kids ever since then. I am currently a full-time mental health therapist at an alternative high school, working with at-risk adolescents. Prior to my work with teens, I was employed by the Department of Human Services as a personal assistant/caregiver for a child recovering from brain cancer. I cared for the child (12 yrs old) and her younger brother (8 yrs old) for three years while completing my graduate degree in clinical psychology. My responsibilities included: daily living tasks, preparing meals, games/homework, coordinating and executing extracurricular activities, transportation to medical appointments, etc. I have worked with several families full-time during summer months and on weekends. Ages of these children range from 3-17. I adore kids and have the professional experience and education to understand even the difficult ones :) I am reliable, committed, responsible, and enthusiastic. I love games/activities that foster thinking and learning, and I can develop creative structure! I am First Aid and CPR certified, have a clean driving record, and a cleared background check.
