Since I was a child myself, I have always wanted to work with children. I started babysitting at a fairly young age and continued to for local families in my neighborhood throughout my teenage years. At around the age of 14-15, I became my little brother's Personal Care Assistant, he has Spina bifida and has been in a wheelchair since before the age of 2. I believe this has instilled understanding, tolerance, and the want to help all in me. I also work at Cowabunga's, an inflatable playground for children. I have worked with and have been exposed to children of all ages, abilities, and needs for a great portion of my life.
