About Kyra

Hey! I'm Kyra (or Ky) I work at FU and will be pursuing my Master of Science in Education in Administration and Supervision here. I have a year of direct childcare experience and 3 years at an elementary school, where I led art clubs and managed assessment logistics. I've also taught classes at a glassblowing studio for students 9+. I value education, literacy, and most importantly HUMOR! I love incorporating reading and creative activities into my time with kids as that's how I spend some of my free time. I respect family rules and routines and will uphold them with care. I'd describe my personality as warm, funny, and responsible. I like working with kids because the world is so new to them, everything is so exciting. I love facilitating new and fun experiences for children and watching their understanding of the world grow. In my spare time, I like to do my scrapbook journal, chat with friends, learn something new, read, and watch action movies.
