About Kyra

I have always loved working with children, and I received a B. S. in speech pathology with that goal in mind. My studies included 140 hours of clinical experience working with autistic children in a school setting. Before moving to NYC, I worked for several families in California and Florida with two or three young children, developing strong bonds and lasting relationships with them. I have also nannied for children with autism and disabilities who became like family to me. I can care for infants, toddlers, and children through age 10. I like to let kids be themselves, while both guiding them gently and also setting appropriate boundaries. I can help children with their homework, cook, and do light cleaning, and am reliable, punctual, and take pride in my work. I am passionate about helping families and love helping children grow developmentally, play, learn, and thrive. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your family!
