About Kyra

Hi, I'm Miss Kyra. For the last 5 years I have had the pleasure of being a nanny for two great families. They will be going off to school this fall, so it's time for me to find a new adventure! I taught gymnastics for 20 years and enjoyed teaching young children. I have an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education and also have two "adult" children (21 & 23) that I homeschooled when they were younger. I have a patient demeanor and bring positive energy to my day with the children in my care. Keeping a healthy lifestyle with exercise (walks and parks) and good nutrition (variety of fresh food) is very important to me. I enjoy doing outside activities daily, going to the library, and attending local, age-appropriate classes, which all promote learning, socializing, and confidence. I keep the kids busy with art projects, reading books, playing games or independent play time. I'm looking forward to working with a family that has similar values and want to raise healthy and happy kids.
