About Kyra

I am a compassionate and creative caregiver dedicated to nurturing young hearts! I am personable, multifaceted, and collaborative, creating an environment that will foster optimal growth. Some of my favorite activities include crafts, sensory play, and reading. Currently, I am at UTMB in my first year of my doctoral occupational therapy program! I am looking for a job that will provide a reliable and communicative environment for myself, the parents and children. I started working with kids when I was 11 as a dance studio teaching assistant! Since then, I have provided childcare for numerous families, worked with children ages 0-14 in camp settings, and assisted in care in the clinical setting of an occupational/physical/speech therapy clinic. I have experience with children with diabetes, physical disabilities, and autism. Attributes I bring to childcare include patience, organization, creativity, positivity, and verrsatility.
