About Lachia

Hello! My name is Lachia, and I have over 10 years of experience as a Direct Support Professional. For the past 8 years, I've worked in a 12-bed residence, where I provide comprehensive care including bathing, dressing, feeding (including G-tube), medication administration, and the use of medical equipment such as the Hoyer lift. I have extensive experience working with individuals who have Alzheimer's, Dementia, and other special needs. My responsibilities have included personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, cooking, laundry, and assistance with mobility. I truly love what I do. I am patient, compassionate, and committed to making sure each client feels safe, respected, and cared for. Families I've worked with describe me as outgoing, friendly, reliable, and someone who goes above and beyond. I take pride in being hardworking, dependable, and always eager to learn new skills to improve the quality of care I provide.
