About Laila

Hi! I'm Laila, a lifelong animal lover based in Bushwick, Brooklyn. I have had cats and dogs my entire life. I am patient, attentive, and committed to making sure every pet in my care feels safe and loved. Through fostering for New York-based organizations and my own pets, I have administered medications, monitored chronically illlnesses, and am comfortable with vet visits. I rely on positive reinforcement, exercise and attention to body language to ensure pets are safe and not disruptive. I have experience with cats of all temperaments: lap cats, independent types, and fearful or shy cats. I know they struggle to eat when stressed, so I monitor them closely and do all I can to keep them comfortable. Whether it's a walk, pet sitting, medication administration, or just checking in, I am punctual, communicative, and reliable.
