About LaNiya

Hi, my name is LaNiya, and I'm 20 years old. Even though this is my first time offering child care, caring for children has been a major part of my life and something I truly enjoy. Growing up in a big family with 9 siblings and living with 4 of them I naturally stepped into a caregiving role from a young age. When my youngest brother was born, I was 13, and every day I woke up at 6 a.m. to care for him and help with my other siblings while my mom worked. He wasn't even one yet, and I handled everything from feeding and changing to keeping him entertained and safe. These early responsibilities taught me patience, responsibility, and how to care for children of different ages. Being trusted with that role at such a young age shaped who I am today and inspired my passion for helping others. Caring for children brings me joy and fulfillment, and it's a path I want to continue in my career. I'm nurturing, dependable, and genuinely enjoy making children feel safe, supported, and happy.
