I taught the Toddler program (ages 2-3) at a Nursery School in Lynbrook, NY for 11 years. I enjoyed working there as a teacher very much. It focused on both socialization and creative play for this age group. I ran a very warm and loving class and focused on each child's needs. My specialty is arts and crafts and I always come up with new and fun projects for my class. I left in June 2012 and was hired by a family in RVC as their babysitter. They have a 5-year-old little boy and 2-year-old little girl, whom I adore working for. I have used all my experience at the Nursery School in this job. I am with the 2-year-old all day and we spend the day in a variety of ways. I feel it is very important to socialize with friends as well as have time at home to read, play and create! I love to go on long walks discovering and try to find a variety of places to also go to. I am looking for summer employment. The woman I work for is a teacher, so I have the summers off. I am available from the end of June until the end of August, 2014. I am looking for a full time babysitter job, but will definitely work part time as well. I am a very 1oving and caring babysitter and treat any child I watch just like my own! I can provide excellent references. I am child CPR trained and have an excellent driving record.
