About Laura

I'm Laura, a college student who loves kids and hopes to become a pediatrician one day. I'm from Colombia and moved to the U. S six years ago, but since I came here, I found ways to be surrounded by kids because it just makes anyone happy. I started taking care of kids since my sister was born and I was always the big girl that looked out for the babies in the family. I have volunteered and worked with Big Brothers and Sisters and elementary schools. Also, at weekends or when necessary, I take care of the children who are friends of my family and neighbors. I know that when it comes to the care of a [your] child you want someone really experienced, but also the charisma and patience that someone may have with the children is important. I believe that I have learned to be as flexible as possible with each child and how to treat them so their needs and yours as a parent are satisfied.
