About Laura

I appreciate the opportunity to care for your pet and build respect with you! I'd describe myself as kind, gentle, positive. Animals are loyal and accepting of us just as we are. I have given medications for pain, insulin injections for senior dog, and most recently- ITP (primary) for my young labradoodle who passed earlier this year. My current 3 dogs are all rescues. I meet them where they are at on their journey. It takes time and slow pace to build trust which is an element I am proud to foster with other pets as well. In my spare time, I sing in a 6 person vocal jazz/renaissance consort group! I am a licensed optician for my professional career. I have a certificate for ocean therapy and sylvotherapy. One thing you should know about me is I am reliable and respectful. Communication is key! My skills include spending quality time with animals, enrichment activities to keep their senses keen, and playing/walking to ensuring they are loved in their own unique ways.
