Hello! I'm Laura, a deeply compassionate caregiver specializing in Parkinson's and Alzheimer's care, with advanced training from Teepa Snow. My lengthy background in social services working with the homeless, I have supported individuals facing complex mental health and addiction challenges, giving me strong deescalation and listening skills and a unique understanding of human needs. I am passionate about providing seniors with quality, dignified and respectful care and creating a comfortable, supportive and happy environment. I am well educated and can speak on many topics, love to read aloud, do puzzles, take walks, play games, bake and cook. I'm up for anything the client wants to do. I aam flexible, reliable have impeccable manners and I strive to make each day trouble- free and full of joy.
