Growing up, I always babysat for the neighborhood. I served as a full-time nanny in New York City and in Boston while saving up for my Master's degree. After enjoying a career as an Admissions Counselor for both private and state universities, I've been home for almost a decade raising my 2 children (ages 8 and 4). With my own children, I practice what I'd call positive parenting (perhaps you call it gentle, conscious, responsive, etc.) and have worked with a parenting coach for several years now.
