About Laura

I am a professional nanny specializing in nature-based education for infants & toddlers. I spent over 10 years lead-teaching infants through Pre-K and I'm Montessori certified (3-6). I returned to nannying in 2022 and began expanding educational resources online for nannies and parents in 2023. I am a passionate educator who is always thinking about lessons after hours and working to provide developmentally-appropriate learning that is generally structured through two-week thematic units (books, songs, & hands-on experiences). I love long walks for toddlers to explore in and out of strollers while stopping for picnics that give us opportunities for tummy time, snacks, art, & books out in the park! I believe in weather-appropriate clothes to get us all outdoors in mild rain and snow. I prefer to avoid screen time for children during care hours. I believe in gentle caregiving, empowerment of communication, and neurodiversity-affirming care.
