About Laurel

Nurturing young minds is truly a passion of mine, fueled by years of positive babysitting experiences and a desire to positively impact children's lives. With five years of experience caring for children aged newborn to 12 and older, I offer a patient, creative, and friendly approach. I have some college education, as weIl being currently enrolled in classes to become a teacher! I also worked as an elementary special education teachers assistant in the La Mesa/Spring valley school district for 3 years. I am comfortable caring for up to three children and happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules and can communicate with you about your child's day using your preferred method. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, educational games, and even some technology-based games with children. I am First Aid and CPR trained.
