About Lauren

I'd describe my personality as enthusiastic, friendly, and responsible. I like working with kids because I'd like to be a positive influence on their development. I adore children and hope to be a pediatric neuropsychologist after graduate school. I'm looking for a job that has a consistent schedule, and where both the parents and the children are open to a new close relationship with me as the babysitter. I prefer the parents to be very clear with how strict/lenient they would like for me to be. I also like to give feedback with text updates, or verbal updates at the end of each day. I started working with kids when I was 13 years old as a babysitter, and then coached gymnastics for children from ages 15-20. I then went on to babysit more and work as a preschool teachers assistant. My skills include emotional regulation support, teaching (whether it be homework help or learning emotional skills such as patience or communication), and my adaptability with each child.
