About Lauren

I'm a caring, dependable, and experienced childcare provider with over 25 years of babysitting and nannying experience. I previously cared for one family's two boys from the time they were 4 and 6 until they no longer needed a nanny. They are now 17 and 20, and I'm fortunate to still have a meaningful relationship with both. I also spent 15+ years working in education as an Educational Interpreter for Deaf and hard-of-hearing students and previously worked as a Teacher's Assistant in a special education school. I've been home with my daughter since she was born and currently homeschool her; she will be 5 this month. I'm looking for a part-time after-school position where my daughter can accompany me. I'm patient, nurturing, creative, and attentive, and I love keeping children engaged through play, crafts, reading, outdoor activities, and learning. My goal is always for children to feel safe, loved, confident, and cared for.
