About Lauren

I started babysitting at the age of 17 and have continued to do this off and on since then when my schedule will allow. I have almost 14 years of experience working with children ranging from the ages of 6 months-13 years. I also have 2 nephews and 1 niece and I helped take care of my now 6-year-old nephew when he was an infant almost full time while my brother and sister in law worked. I completed a full year of student teaching in a fourth grade classroom from '19-'20 then graduated in May 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Education. I was a lead teacher in a learning pod with children in 2nd grade - 5th grade from October 2020- March 2021. Now, I have my own classroom and in my third year of teaching 3rd grade reading, writing, and grammar which has been such a joy! I am looking to help a family after school hours- whether that be with homework, assisting with after school activities, or any other need.
