I have been around kids pretty much my whole life, from the moment my brother was born when I was 4, I never left his side, and I started babysitting at the age of 9 for family friend's children and neighbors. While I was attending high school, I took 2 years of child development and volunteered at the daycare that was connected to my high school. During my time enrolled in community college, a lot of my classes and experience was focused around child development, because I knew that I eventually wanted to be a physical education teacher (in which I still do and will be going back to school sometime in the future). I have always had a passion for children, for they are our future, and I can't wait to have a few of my own someday.
