About Lauren

I like working with kids because I believe that it is very important to not only teach but learn from our next generation. Working with kids is incredibly rewarding! I'm looking for a job that is relatively flexible. I am a full time college student so I do have class during the week sometimes! I started working with kids about 4 years ago. I worked at a daycare center for a little over 2 years. I got to work with all ages (including infants up to 12 years old). I currently reach a dance class twice a week to 2-6-year-olds. I also have lots of experience tutoring so I will always be able to help with any homework! In my spare time, I like to read! I started reading Harry Potter in middle school and have been hooked ever since. I am a Psychology major so there's always something interesting to be reading. One thing you should know about me is that I am constantly looking for new fun things to do. I keep an eye out for activities or games that the kids might find fun and engaging!
