Hello! My name is Lauren and I recently moved to Pacific Beach. I will be beginning my senior year at San Diego State University where I study Criminal Justice and Cognitive & Behavioral Neuroscience. I'd describe my personality as energetic, hardworking, and a lover of learning. In my spare time, I like to read, exercise, go to the beach, paint, and spend time with friends and my foster pup. I absolutely love children! I started working with kids in 2018 when I began babysitting for my neighbors and in my community. When I babysit, I love to read, do crafts, play games, and go outdoors. I am super flexible, responsible, have my own car, and am a super safe driver. I have experience with children aged 6months-12+ years. Additionally, I used to be a lifeguard so I am trained in CPR, AED, and all things pertaining to lifeguarding. I also used to volunteer at an elementary after school program and refereed youth soccer games.

Lauren is amazing to work with! She has been working with us weekly for 3 months and has done such a great job caring for our boys. We have a 1 and 2 year old. While our youngest was under 1 she helped with making sure he had his bottles on time, keeping him on schedule with his regular naps, changing diapers, and helping him with pulling up, cruising, and now learning to walk. She can seamlessly support him while entertaining our oldest! With our oldest he is constantly on the move, looking for engagement, and very curious. He is also in speech therapy and occupational therapy, so Lauren does learning activities with him to help him with learning new words, his ABCs, counting, his animals/objects, daily living skills, and task. While the boys sleep, she helps me with folding their laundry, and light housekeeping activities. We are very lucky to have Lauren, and highly recommend her!
