About Lauren

I like to roller skate, read, be outside and be creative. I play the piano and practice yoga to de-stress. I also attend church regularly. During Highschool I attended an Early Childhood Education and Development Program for 2 years. During that I spent time in the St. Charles Early Childhood learning Center, teaching 3, 4, and 5-year-olds. I spent time in a special needs classroom and general Ed classroom. As well as the learning from and assisting teachers at Blackhurst Elementary at the Kindergarten level. After Highschool, I went on to complete a 200hr yoga teacher training and got my certificate to teach. Breathwork, daily exercise, mindful movement and meditation keeps me balanced and ready for anything the day hands me. Currently enrolled in St. Charles Community College for an Associate degree of Applied Exercise Science. Here I am looking to expand my knowledge of movement in a clinical setting and deepen my knowledge of Nutrition and Healthy Eating Habits.
