About Lauren

As an elementary teacher, private tutor, experienced nanny, and early childhood educator, I love helping children learn, grow, and build confidence through meaningful play and everyday experiences. I've worked with infants and young children for 16 years, whether in preschools, Montessori settings, or nannying for 6 families. I also hold a degree in Recreation with a focus on therapy, which informs my approach to child development. I've been First Aid and CPR certified for 18 years. I enjoy creating hands-on learning experiences, whether through sensory bins, singing songs, daily walks, or imaginative play, encouraging curiosity while developing fine and gross motor skills. Families describe me as patient, dependable, and organized. I believe in partnering with parents through open communication and providing a nurturing environment.
