About Lauren

I have been working as a nanny/family assistant for 10 years. I have experience caring for infants as young as 3 months and schooI-aged children alike. I love to help out in any way I can, and have always been one to seek out household managerial jobs to keep everything running smoothly. I possess a bachelor's degree in psychology and worked at the Early Childhood Development Laboratory on campus as a teacher's assistant for children ranging from 6 weeks old - 7 years old. As a teacher's assistant, I was involved in creating and implementing various activities to strengthen children's' physical and cognitive development. I have a passion for child development and a proactive approach to implementing age appropriate, enriching activities. In my free time I love to cook, garden and spend time outside with my dog. Health and wellness are some of my top priorities - I have a certification in holistic health and nutrition, am a lifelong learner and possess a deep passion for helping others.
