About Lauren

During college, I worked doing in-home therapy with a boy on the spectrum. In our therapy, I incorporated academic lessons because his parents expressed concern over his academic progress. I would help him with homework by making it more fun and rewarding then normal, as well as create fun ways to help him learn certain things, such as vocab words. In addition to that, I worked as an aide in a Kindergarten classroom, where I was involved in a lot of academic assistance and am familiar with that curriculum. I am currently in an education masters program (School Psychology) and plan to work in education for the rest of my career. My career is centered around helping students learn to the best of their ability.
