I grew up in an animal-oriented household. My mom's dream was to have a farm. We never did, but we did own dogs, cats, chickens, mice, a rabbit, and a turtle. As a result, I am very comfortable with and adore animals. Presently I live with my 12-year-old cat, Bean. I am frequently asked by friends and neighbors to take care of their animals if they are traveling or just need a helping hand! My mother is also a professional pet sitter so I've learned lots from her, and I guess it runs in the family. When I'm not hanging out with animals, I am hanging out with children.
