About Lauren

Hello. I am very warm, playful, creative, and vibrant! As one of five outgoing, loving sisters, I have always had a gift working with children and a passion for educating. I taught my baby sister to read when she was 3 and I was 7. I have been involved in Children's Ministry at Church since I was 12, from infants to teaching my own class of 3-year-olds for 4+ years. I have babysat/ nannied since I was 13, for multiple families in high school, college, and post-grad ranging from newborn twins to 11-year-olds. In college, I tutored at a bilingual ESL Elementary School in San Jose, California and after graduation, I au-paired for a family in Spain for three months. I lived with the family and helped their two boys (aged 8 and 10) with homework, taught English, made meals, took them to activities, and played with them. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience, Political Science, and Pre-Law and just finished a year as a 2nd Grade Math/Science teacher at an IDEA charter school.
