About Laurie

Hello, I enjoy spending time with seniors. I was close to my grandparents and love my elderly friends that I share time and meals with. I love to listen to their stories! I'm looking for a job that would help seniors with getting to appts, shopping and some light housekeeping. I'm happy to simply give them someone to talk to, play games with or go out for a meal. I helped care for my grandparents, especially some of their last years. Sometimes just on an "as needed basis" around the house, with meals, in the garden, picking up prescriptions, shopping etc. They lived on a small farm with all sorts of animals, besides cats and a dog. I've always had cats, and I had one wonderful dog. Spare time is spent traveling, walking, and visiting friends and family. I'm also a part time licensed massage therapist, so my schedule can vary. I'm a good listener, patient, prompt and compassionate. Also, it's important to me to report changes in the people I care for.
