About Laurie

I'd describe my personality as joyful, honest, pleasant and easy to talk to. I like caring for seniors because they usually need someone to talk to and I like keeping them company. I also like to run errands for them and take them to appointments I'm looking for a job that will let me know exactly what is expected of me, where can I make a good connection with the person I am caring for, where if the need to flexible with the schedule is allowed on occasion, and I job that makes me happy. I started caring for seniors when I worked as an occupational therapy assistant approximately 30 years ago. In my spare time, I like to watch TV, swim, listen to podcasts, connect with my friends, declutter my home, exercise, and take walks. One thing you should know about me is that I am very reliable/dependable. My skills include giving people showers, being a good companion, and running errands.
