About Layci

I currently work as a preschool teacher aide, where I have daily hands-on experience caring for young children in a structured classroom setting. I support learning activities, daily routines, and social-emotional development while helping maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing environment. In addition to my professional experience, I come from a large family with 8 siblings, including 5 younger ones, so I've naturally been very hands-on in helping care for and look after younger children from a young age. I'm comfortable managing multiple kids at once, giving one-on-one attention when needed, and staying calm and patient in busy moments. Growing up on a farm has also taught me responsibility, consistency, and care, which I bring into every childcare situation.
