About Layla

Layla was our nanny for our second daughter from 5 months to 13 months (when she started daycare) and then for our son from 2 months to 12 months, when he will start daycare. Besides my mom, she is the only person I would trust for a baby so young. For both kids, Layla has been very caring and loving. She engages with the baby all the time. They play, read, and learn basic skills. They always go out for walks and to the playground. Our neighbors have commented that she really loves and cares about the baby. And when she started with our youngest son, my daughter was jealous, because Layla is *her* friend, even though more than a year had lapsed. Layla has helped both kids nap independently during the day. She also helped both kids transition to solids and start eating by themselves and drinking from a cup. She cooks healthy snacks and lunches for the kids (and she is a great cook!). She is always on time, and eager to help with small schedule changes when I had to work earlier or travel.
