I am 18 years old, and I have been working since I was 14. I started off with just baby-sitting my two younger sisters every once in a while for my parents. Then my aunt recommended me to her neighbor who had three children, ages 5, 3, and 1. I baby-sat them for about three years, not consistently, but whenever they needed me. During this time, I also baby-sat my cousins children, who were under the ages of 1, when they needed. I have also worked as a waitress in a restaurant since I was 15. Although I like it, it has not been providing me with enough income. So since watching children seemed like my second nature, I have decided to pursue a position as a baby sitter.
