About Leah

I am an experienced child and animal sitter with many years of experience! My child sitting experience includes regular sitting of my toddler niece and nephew since their birth as well as 15+ years of animal sitting which includes cats and dogs. My educational background includes an undergraduate degree in 7-12 Social Studies Education and a Pennsylvania social studies teaching certification as well as a master's degree in history. After living in Philadelphia for 2 years, work has brought me back to the DC area. Previously, I lived in Arlington for 5 years and I loved every moment of it. Prior to moving to Philadelphia, I worked at the Smithsonian Associates for 5 years. I will be returning there late this summer, but in the meantime I would love the opportunity to provide care for your child or pet (or both!) this summer.
