About Leah

Hi, I'm Leah. I love working with kids (especially infants), and I am currently finishing my bachelors degree in Children, Youth, & Family Studies. I love dogs and don't mind helping out with chores. I am a certified American Red Cross instructor in Adult & Pediatric CPR/AED/First-Aid and am a volunteer firefighter. I would love to get to know your family and support you as best as I can! I have a range of experience in caregiving from babysitting as a teenager to being a Direct support professional to being a caregiver of an infant and a toddler during a period of my life. I believe play and exploring the world in an engaging way is vital for children in development. I am a Christian and my beliefs are very important to me. I would love to work with a Christian family but this is not a requirement. I am a more calm and gentle personality, but I love to have fun and discover something new.
