About Leah

Hi! I'm a reliable, nurturing, and fun babysitter with 15 years of experience caring for children. Originally from Oklahoma City, I moved to Texas to attend college at Southwestern University, where I received my Bachelors degree in Environmental Studies in 2011. Throughout my life I've always babysat because I love children and their sense of curiosity, and I believe in the power of our youth to create a better world. I have experience working with infants-teenagers. My background is in farm to school education, and I spent my twenties working for non-profits educating youth on gardening and nutrition, and working in the natural foods and tech industries. Throughout this time I have always babysat & formed wonderful and lasting relationships with the families. Now, I am beginning the process of getting my teaching certificate to teach elementary school, and look forward to nannying part time. In my spare time, I love exploring nature, animals, cooking, and reading.
