Want someone who will sing along to Frozen, have tea parties, build blanket forts and play Legos with your little ones? And maybe even grab some awesome photos of your kids in the process? (I'm happy to include a link to my work in my reply to you!) I love kids! I have been caring for children since my teens. I worked for a family that needed full-time care for their toddlers during summers starting in my early teens and then transitioned into running errands and helping with housework in addition to child care as I got older. I have had many years of experience in the hospitality industry as a restaurant manager, so I am used to managing "kids" (as I lovingly refer to servers). I also have two beautiful, strong-willed, creative and smart nieces that I adore and thoroughly enjoy! I currently hold a position as assistant to the Children's Director at my church and care for children regularly. Toddlers to early elementary age are my heart, but I am comfortable with all ages! I believe in providing children with structured fun (sounds like an oxymoron, I know!). I think it's important to set boundaries as well as shower children with love and affection. Currently, I work Monday-Friday until 4:30 p.m. Ideally, I would love to work 2-3 evenings per week. I am available 5pm-11 p.m. Monday-Thursday and every other weekend any time except for Sunday mornings (available 1/23-1/25, 2/6-2/8, 2/20-2/22, etc.).
