I have 4 kids of my own, ages 17, 15, 14 and 7. I have experience and a deep appreciation for all (the work) it takes to take care of babies and toddlers, raise teens, and keep a happy home. I raised my kids in Point Loma and know the fun things to do around town- library days, nature walks, reading in the park, sitting on the front porch, listening to the birds sing. I also have a zoo and sea world pass that can be used for a free admission for kids. When I do a Venn diagram (listing my passions, career choices, what I value most) helping people move through transitions in life, sits at the very center. I like to help others move forward. I am CPR and first aid certified, and have recent experience working with babies ages 5-13months. I am very comfortable providing a safe environment and loving care to babies and offering support to new parents as they navigate sleep and feeding schedules, teething, introducing new foods and meeting babies needs.

Leah is an exceptionally loving, highly skilled, and thoughtful caretaker! I am tremendously grateful for her attentiveness and professionalism when she watched my infant daughter on short notice in San Diego. Leah came through for my daughter and I and was our saving grace when my childcare needs suddenly changed. Communication was effortless and she provided regular updates about my daughter, who was in need of extra tender care due to an upset stomach and a severe diaper rash. Leah loved and cared for my daughter just as a loving mother would, and I will never forget how much care and compassion Leah showed her. Leah is absolutely the right person to care for children because it's clear that her heart is in it. Her patient personality, talents, and experience allowed her to tackle a very difficult challenge with such beautiful grace. Her 4 children are very lucky to have her as their mother! I couldn't recommend Leah enough to anyone who needs a reliable and loving caretaker for their child. When I think of the good people of the world who commit their time and talents to make a difference in the world, Leah is at the top of the list!
