About Leah

I grew up with incredibly tight-knit, positive relationships with all of my grandparents as well as many great aunts and uncles, & I have always had a special place in my heart & deep respect for Seniors. Many of these family members served or held careers in the military, & their life experiences, skills & values have always had a tremendous impact on me, both personally & professionally. As a wife of 26 years, mother of three daughters (one with special needs & medical complexities), & a middle & high school teacher for 20 years in various districts with students with a wide range of experiences & abilities, I regularly consider what my grandparents would think when making decisions. Having an adult child with special needs & medical complexities has also shaped my life in terms of learning & providing personal cares of all sorts as well has taught me immense gratitude, patience, & empathy. I look forward to developing relationships built on trust, understanding, & compassion.
