About Lena

Hi there! I'm Lena and I'm a Bay Area native with a warm, outgoing personality and a rich background working with children. I raised two wonderful young adults of my own and spent many years living in Italy, where I taught young children English through play and school-based learning. Kids tend to feel comfortable with me quickly. I'm creative, energetic, and love coming up with games, activities, and imaginative ways to make the day fun. I also keep a horse and ponies at a beautiful facility here in Danville, and a supervised visit can be a very special treat. I have a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, so I'm happy to help with homework, and I'm also a certified health and nutrition coach with a strong interest in healthy routines and overall well-being. I'm a licensed driver and happy to help with pickups, drop-offs, outings, and children of all ages. References are available upon request.
