About Leslie

I am a student at the University of Michigan entering my senior year and studying Economics and Political Science, and pursuing a masters degree in Elementary Education post-grad. For the past two years, I've volunteered as a first grade classroom assistant at Angell Elementary, which inspired me to become a teacher. I'd describe my personality as adventurous, kind, and responsible. I like working with kids because I love how creative they can be, and I love teaching them new things. I'm looking for a job that is at least 20-25 hours a week, if not more! I started working with kids when I began volunteering at Angell, and education quickly became my passion! In my spare time, I like to run and read. I love playing with my dogs, swimming, and spending time with family. One thing you should know about me is I am very responsible and I love trying new things. I also have a car that can fit up to 6 passengers in the back seats. My skills include tutoring, cooking, and cleaning.
