My husband and I were in Charlotte for a wedding recently, and our original Care.com babysitter unexpectedly ghosted us and never showed up, leaving us scrambling for childcare for our 20-month-old so we could attend our friends’ wedding. I reached out to Leslie after seeing that she had applied to our job posting, and within 30 minutes, she called me back and was willing to come to our Airbnb to watch our son. She drove 45 minutes just to help us for three hours, and we are so incredibly grateful that she did! From the moment we met Leslie, she was kind, warm, and trustworthy. She played with our son, handled his entire bedtime routine, and put him down for the night.
