I am writing to provide my strongest possible recommendation for Levan (“Leo”). I know Mr. K because he cared for my father for approximately five years. Mr. K. managed my father’s complicated medical regime with extraordinary skill. For example, when my father was no longer able to eat, Mr. K helped to provide him intravenous nutrition at home. He has experience with tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, breathing support (nebulizers, BiPap machines) and much more. When doctors and nurses examined my father, they commented that it was hard to believe how healthy his skin was (since bedbound patients often suffer from serious bedsores) but Mr. K knows how to prevent and treat wounds. Mr. K’s medical expertise exceeds that of many nurses, but the companionship, music and reassurance that he provided my father (and indeed our entire family) was even more valuable. With Mr. K by his side, my father never lost his love for life.
