About Lexi

Hi all! My name is Alexis, I go by Lexi. I am looking to start a new position around August 31, when my current nanny family will be moving out of state. I have over 10 years of professional experience working with children, from nannying, to foster care, to youth development work. I am most experienced and comfotable with children ages 0-3, but am open to any age range. I have been with my current family for over a year, caring for their two children (boy, 2 and girl, 4 weeks at start of position). I'm well-versed in infant development, and I love encouraging and celebrating baby milestones. With the toddlers, I strive to model safe bodies and emotional regulation while also fostering independence. I am very organized and enjoy being able to jump right in to help a home run more smoothly, whether that means folding children's laundry, emptying the dishwasher, or restocking the diaper bag.
