About Libby

Hi! My name is Libby, and I am an aspiring child mental health therapist. I recently graduated from Elon University with a degree in psychology, which has given me a solid understanding of child development, attachment, and needs. I have many years of experience working with babies and young children. I would describe myself as kind, patient, passionate, and loving. I have several years of experience as a babysitter and nanny. I also have experience with infants and children through working as a swim instructor, tutor, and camp counselor. I began working as a Mommy's helper and babysitter about 10 years ago, and have babysat for children 3 months and older on and off since then. Currently, I work part time in ABA therapy with children ages 2-6, where I focused on communication, regulation, and developmental skill-building. I genuinely enjoy caring for children and creating a safe, fun, nurturing, loving, and predictable environment where they can grow.
