About Ligia Pamela

I was born in Guatemala City, where my journey in education began as a teenager, co-founding a free afterschool program for underprivileged students. Over four years, we supported 114 children from rural communities, even gaining U. S. recognition on a TV show. After studying ESL in University, I taught at a COGNIA-accredited school using Developmental Neuropsychology and technology-focused learning. I then joined a Montessori-based kindergarten, guiding children from 12 nationalities in full ESL immersion. There, I deepened my knowledge with certifications in Project-based learning and assertive discipline. Later, I led math instruction in English at the International Montessori School of Guatemala. Upon moving to the U. S. in 2018, I established a Montessori learning pod for young children from diverse backgrounds. Now, with a Montessori Certification, I help families integrate Montessori principles at home. I have continued my education by acquiring childcare-based trainings in NH/V
